On Thursday, January 15th, the Alma Water Department will be replacing the City of Dyer’s master meter. During this time, water service will be temporarily shut off for a few hours to the City of Dyer Water customers.  

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Once water service is restored, you may notice brown or discolored water. This water is treated and safe to drink. To clear your lines, please run cold water only for approximately 10 minutes, or until the water runs clear.

Water Line Repair

Due to a water leak, residents on Washington Street, Line Street, Main Street, and potentially other surrounding streets will be without water temporarily as repairs are completed. Once water is restored in case of any discoloration run faucets throughout your residence on cold for 10-15 minutes to help flush discoloration out of your lines.

• The water meter box and its contents are the property of the City of Dyer Water Department and are not to be handled (opened) by anyone other than the authorized utility personnel.
• If you need in your meter box for ANY reason you MUST call City Hall at 479-997-8557 and a representative will come and unlock your box for you
• Unauthorized access to meter box is a violation of your agreement and may lead to a tampering charge of $250.00, liability for any damages, and potential termination of water services.
